Good Vibes was created to connect people globally, to shine light on different cultures and lifestyles and to make the world feel like a smaller, warmer, friendlier place. As a foreigner and outsider, I aim to connect people and to exchange good energy, regardless of the barriers we may face. The Good Vibes project started its journey around the world with the intention to bring the world closer together and to support the idea of a more global community.
As this sailboat made its way into hundreds of hands around the globe since January 2020, and documented in hundreds of photographs, the energy has been shared and smiles exchanged in dozens of countries.

When we feel the energy of the thread that connects all living beings we can better understand that our differences are of no more importance than our similarities. In these times of a rapidly changing world, sometimes it's hard to understand the differences around us. By taking artwork through a multicultural portal and interacting with the locals, the tourists, the businesses, etc., we can somehow relate to differing perspectives and unique customs.
The vibrant colors of this sailboat represent the multicultural world we live in. The various textures stand for our individual stories while the metallic splashes fill the small canvas with brimming life experiences, light and energy. The natural elements are present here as wood, water, air, fire and earth combine on a tiny canvas, embarking on an unknown journey, into hundreds of hands across the earth.
