"Crater Lake is part of Popko’s Journeys & Pathways Collection, representing nature itself on a journey, developing it’s own pathway and thus, creating it’s own story…This art series is marked by the metal hardware on the four corners of each painting. Popko, often inspired by nature, this time, by the formation of an historic lake in Oregon, (USA) quotes, “Crater Lake inspires awe. Native Americans witnessed its formation 7,700 years ago, when a violent eruption triggered the collapse of a tall peak. Scientists marvel at its purity: fed by rain and snow, it’s the deepest lake in the USA and one of the most pristine on earth.”—NPS.gov (United States Park Service)
"This event will be a silent auction. In the silent auction, Freedom Boxes and NGO DEI will give a speech to present our recent voluntary works, as well as the goal of this event. The artworks will be displayed for attendees to assess, place bids on, and purchase. The difference with most auctions is that there is no auctioneer present, and participants place their bids silently and anonymously on a bid sheet using a bidding number. We will designate a specific space for checking out, where the winning bidders can claim their items and pay for them.
NGO DEI is fully committed to providing voluntary services to people in need from Ukraine. This event is designed to raise awareness and money for the Ukraine people. This will be a great opportunity to bring people to a gathering for networking. Ultimately, we will receive donations not only from the auction, but also from the donation box and the proceeds from the cafe that night. We are not only targeting experienced art collectors to participate in the bidding, but also donors who are engaging in rebuilding Ukraine and assisting people who have suffered from the war.”—NGO Dei
