April Popko - Smiling Crocodile
April supports the Smiling Crocodile Charity. She has donated one of her paintings for auction. Hold tight, auction to TBA! On Monday, November 18th, 2019, April visited the school to explain her painting to the kids with the hope to bring them joy. "Today was extra special. I had a chance to meet really great people at Smiling Crocodile--a school which helps children with very complex needs. I loved being with them as they sang, danced and they showed their superpowers. I could see the room was filled with bright spirits, all having very human experiences--and that can be difficult sometimes. Hopefully this painting will be of good use to them in the future. It is the beginning of a series of items that will be auctioned for the support of their new school. The new school will have state-of-the-art facilities including a garden, animals, colorful walls, wonderful teachers, assistants and a hospice with palliative care for those who will be in the progressive stages of life. These little angels really touched my heart today. I am grateful to be with so much goodness here." - April Popko
