Sailboat Collection - FLEET
Being raised by the ocean, barefoot, in the sand, since I was 5 weeks old, the ocean is, as I say, running through my veins.  It gives me so much energy to be by the water, sailing, fishing, lobstering, clamming, water-skiing, or speed-boating with family and friends. I bring this love into the world to share with you because I now live in a land-locked country (Czech Republic).  Painting boats or nautical themes make me feel closer to that with which I was raised.  I feel I am brought "home" every time I finish the painted breezes, waters, boats and other fantastical ideas with you.
FLEET also represents something much deeper than the actual objects that are presented here.  Since living abroad, far from my large and wonderful American family, I feel a strong need to share with the world my feelings of how precious the moments are TOGETHER.  Being abroad has amplified the awareness of those fleeting moments together with loved ones.  Every time we say "goodbye", we secretly hope there will be another "hello", for as we all know, this ride through life IS very fleeting and we all cherish the most valuable commodity that exists: TIME.  Time spent together is priceless.  Making the most of our time with those we uphold our most precious relationships is of the highest value to me.  With this FLEET collection, I intend to remind you of YOUR most valuable relationships and time here on Earth.  We all try to make the most of our time on this amazing journey through life and I wish you even more incredibly touching moments every time you look at these paintings.
