What is a pop-up?
It's a temporary art event where artwork is displayed in some temporary environment (other than the artist's studio). In the beginning, Popko's artwork started in Asia. As April continued to paint in her Prague studio, one of her team members introduced Popko's artwork to different parts of the world. Here, you can see, from the FLEET collection, an acrylic sailboat, sailing around Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Singapore, Bali and elsewhere!
Why have a pop-up?
This was intended to be a temporary appearance of April's work --in various countries, cities and corners of the world-- is a way to spread Popko energy, while exposing people to different cultures and ways of life. Now, this project has exploded! Popko Good Vibes is unstoppable, with people all over the globe learning about the project and requesting their own copies to share good vibes in their corners of the world.
