A symbol of peace, hope, courage and freedom, representing a bridge between cultures, nations, and the space between heaven and earth. Artist, APRIL POPKO, created a double set of wings, permanently displayed in the Žižkov Tower observatory 93 meters above the Prague city skyline. The wings are illuminated and adorned with thousands of real feathers, hand-designed metallic mesh and glass crystals. Hidden in this art piece are the symbolic angel numbers, 11 and 22, as signs of awakening, protection, and encouragement to spread our own figurative wings. We invite you to interact with the wings, pose/take photos, and create lasting memories of your visit to Tower Park Praha. 
Did you know? Below is the smallest sculpture in the Czech Republic: Mini Popko Wings (created with aluminum by artist Monique Leon - April Popko's sister). These are located on the model of Žižkov Tower in the observatory cabins.

Abstract painter, APRIL POPKO, has lived and worked from her Prague studio since 2003.  She comes from a large family of artists, and is inspired to communicate her experiences of living between two worlds.  Exhibiting globally, April focuses on transferring energy through art to bring positivity and light, by creating vibrant, abstract, paintings. Entering the realm of public installation art, as an extension to her main body of work, Popko creations communicate energetically.
